Trayvon martin has been murdered under the stand your ground act, thc was found in his system after death,
does it change the results of the investigation against George Zimmerman?
does it change the results of the investigation against George Zimmerman?
ThatSupermodel explains more about how why this claim may not hold in court...
"Stand Your Ground", "Line In The Sand" or "No Duty To Retreat" laws thus state that a person has no duty or other requirement to abandon a place in which he has a right to be, or to give up ground to an assailant. Under such laws, there is no duty to retreat from anywhere the defender may legally be. [1] Other restrictions may still exist; such as when in public, a person must be carrying firearms in a legal manner, whether concealed or openly.
Under the stand your ground law, zimmerman feels he may get away with murder in this case.
So far, as you know, Trayvon Martin was murdered by george zimmerman, who claims self defense under floridas stand your ground law.
To those that are unaware, the stand your ground law entitles anyone who has a registered handgun to be able to carry it without having to retreat if you feel you are in imminent danger of loosing your life in a place where you may legally be.
There are not many restrictions on this law. It simply states that "<1>a person has no duty or other requirement to abandon a place in which he has a right to be <2>or to give up ground to an assailant
Today we are examining how the thc results dont affect this unjustified murder. We are also explaining to the world how the stand your ground law will not help zimmerman although he has a bloody nose and a one inch cut to the back of the head. Zimmerman has shown documentation of this but he also claims two black eyes as well, however those pictures have yet to be shown by zimmermans defense team for validation.
One question many are buzzing to know is,
How can Zimmerman claim self defense if his injurys were not urgent enough or life threatening enough to secure ambulatory care and service at the crime scene?
And
Wouldn't 'standing your ground' require zimmerman to stay in his car after he lost his rights to legally be in the area?
Yes! George lost his right to legally be near Trayvon Martin, thus revoking Georges 'stand your ground rights' when the police told george not to pursue Trayvon.
However instead of obeying the direct order from the law official, zimmerman continued to pursue Trayvon Martin.
This move by Zimmerman is one which in turn invoked Trayvon Martins Right to Bear Arms against the imminent danger he faced as Zimmerman anxiously and unlawfully pursued and unjustifyably murdered Trayvon Martin.
Then to add even more insult to trayvons murder...
George's defense for disobeying law officials orders was, 'they always get away"
Thc or not, the right stand your ground is revoked when any law official commands you to retreat or stand down in any situation. The law states that you only have the right to stand your ground if you are legally and rightfully allowed to be there, George Zimmerman lost that right on the phone with police!
